Introducing the world's first 3-Position Handgun A.R.T. System for the MPA Defender platform.
The new three-position selector gives the shooter greater control over how the system operates:
- Position 1: Standard Safety.
- Position 2: Traditional semi-automatic operation with a deliberate, firm trigger pull. The trigger still provides the signature A.R.T. reset impulse, but with less forward movement, making controlled single shots easy and predictable.
- Position 3: Optimized for A.R.T. operation, making it much easier to consistently find and maintain the proper trigger position for active reset use.
The purpose of the three-position design is to make the system more intuitive and easier to learn while allowing the shooter to transition between conventional trigger control and A.R.T. operation with the flip of the selector

The MPA Defender A.R.T. is a hardened steel Aggressive Reset Trigger component designed for compatible MPA Defender models along with a Steel 3 position Selector.
It is engineered to provide a more forceful and pronounced trigger reset than a conventional trigger system, delivering stronger tactile feedback and a more distinct forward return during operation.
By increasing reset force and producing a sharper reset impulse, the A.R.T. gives the shooter a more positive and noticeable reset characteristic.
This enhanced feedback helps the user better track the trigger cycle and maintain more consistent trigger control while preserving true semi-automatic operation—one round fired per trigger pull.
This system is intended for shooters who prefer a firmer, more assertive reset than a standard trigger while maintaining normal semi-automatic function.
Failing to allow full reset, pinning or holding the trigger to the rear, or applying excessive rearward pressure may cause a Malfunction/Jam
Trigger control is critical.
Brace Recommendation
For the best control and the most consistent operation, this system is intended for use with a brace-equipped firearm configuration where legally permitted.
Due to the heavy reciprocating mass of the MPA Defender platform, insufficient support during firing can make it easier for the shooter to induce cycling issues or inconsistent reset behavior.
Using the firearm without adequate support may increase the likelihood of passive resets or interruptions in function.
This is a result of shooter input rather than a defect in the A.R.T. component.
This product is intended for users who understand proper trigger control, safe firearm handling, recoil management, and consistent support technique.

Not Currently Compatible
The MPA Defender A.R.T. is not currently compatible with:
- VMAC variants
- Cobray-pattern variants
- .45 ACP MPA Defender variants
- .22 LR variants
There are three bolt patterns for the MPA defender One of the bolt patterns is Drop-in Ready the other two require fitment
These platforms remain under development and testing and are not approved for installation or use at this time.
Compatibility with .22 LR models has not yet been validated through live-fire testing and should be considered unsupported until testing confirms otherwise.
Installation & Performance Notice
The A.R.T. is intended only for compatible firearms that are in safe operating condition.
Installation quality, firearm tolerances, ammunition selection, suppressor use, maintenance, and shooter technique all influence performance. Improper installation, incorrect fitment, unsafe handling, or improper trigger operation may result in passive reset, stoppages, or unreliable function.
Every firearm should be safely function-checked after installation and before live fire.
The reset lever from this kit is inspired by ToadLicker556’s Open Source Printable Reset Device with some changes for it to be machine and Hardened steel.

Several design changes were made to make the system suitable for machining and to ensure reliable function when manufactured from hardened steel.
All reset levers are backed by a lifetime warranty, and the 3-position selector cams are covered by the same lifetime warranty.
All firearms are inherently dangerous and must always be handled safely.
Because the MPA Defender utilizes an unsupported chamber, there is a possibility of case ruptures due to factors such as bolt bounce or ammunition-related variables.
During our internal testing, we experienced zero case ruptures; however, users should understand that these risks are inherent to any other straight blowback firearm with unsupported chambers.
