By purchasing, using, or installing any product sold by ART (Appalachian Research and Technology), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms in full:

Eligibility

By placing an order, you confirm and affirm that you:

  • Are at least 21 years of age

  • Are not prohibited from owning, purchasing, or possessing firearm components under federal, state, or local law

  • Are purchasing for lawful, personal use only

  • Will not export, resell, redistribute, or transfer ART products in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to U.S. export control laws

  • Understand and accept that ART products may not be legal to own, possess, or install in certain jurisdictions, and that you are solely responsible for verifying compliance before purchase

Product Safety, Use, and Installation

ART products may alter or enhance firearm performance and must be installed and used with extreme care. By purchasing or installing these components, you assume all risks associated with handling, modification, and operation. You agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring proper selection, installation, fitment, function, maintenance, and lawful use of any product

  • You will consult a qualified gunsmith or armorer if you are unsure about compatibility, fitment, or safety

  • You understand that any improper installation, modification, misuse, or failure to follow applicable safety standards may result in property damage, personal injury, or death

  • You are solely responsible for verifying that your completed build or modified firearm complies with all laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

  • You are responsible for testing all safety functions prior to live use

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ART, including its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, affiliates, and partners, shall not be held liable for any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind, whether direct or indirect, arising out of or related to:

  • Use or misuse of any ART product

  • Improper installation or modification

  • Accidental discharge or negligent use

  • Violations of local, state, or federal law

  • Criminal or civil consequences related to the possession, transfer, or operation of a firearm using ART components

  • Any failure to follow instructions, warnings, or best safety practices

This limitation applies to all damages and claims, including but not limited to:

  • Personal injury or death

  • Property damage

  • Loss of functionality or use

  • Business interruption or lost profits

  • Criminal liability

  • Incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

By purchasing or using any ART product, you agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ART, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, legal actions, penalties, judgments, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to:

  • The purchase, possession, installation, use, or misuse of ART products

  • Violation of any law or regulation

  • Injury or damage caused by you or your firearm, whether to yourself or others

  • Any unauthorized export, resale, or transfer of ART products

This disclaimer applies to all ART products, whether sold through our website, authorized dealers, distributors, or third-party platforms. By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms in their entirety.
